Visit to Ulster University Jordanstown campus with seminars and cohort building activities.

This visit also allowed for visits to the research centres at Jordanstown and to the Belfast campus.

Effective Mentoring Training (February 22)
Effective mentoring training session organised by SusHy student Mickella for interested students and staff. This was organised to help those participating in the buddy scheme to become effective mentors and buddies.
International Women's Day 2022 (March 22)
Virtual event organised by SusHy students (Antonia, Mickella, Ruth, Una, Courtney) to celebrate IWD22. Worksheets and puzzles produced for SusHy staff and students and for local schools. Movienight for CDT students.
Visit to University of Birmingham (April 22)
Visit to University of Birmingham to tour chemistry and chemical engineering research facilities and hear about the history of hydrogen research at UoB.

LGBTQ+ Celebration Event (Organised by SusHy Students) (June 22)
LGBTQ+ celebration event organised by Sustainable Hydrogen CDT students (Antonia, Cheryl, Courtney, Paddy and Una) and hosted at the University of Birmingham in the Gisbert Kapp building (hybrid event). 
The event aimed to celebrate LGBTQ+ research from a range of disciplines and areas. The event was organised with PhD students in mind but all those from the LGBTQ+ research community (and of course all allies!) with an interest attended.

2022 SusHy Conference  - Nottingham (September 22)
Conference for all SusHy students and connected academics. Cohort 1 students gave presentations whilst cohort 2 and 3 presented posters. Had opportunity to chair first session of presentations and to present poster on current research.
